Lake Meade Fire & Rescue has taken delivery of their new 2016 Pierce Impel PUC rescue pumper. Rescue 26 is equipped with a Cummins ISL9 450 hp engine and Allison 3000EVS transmission. This is a Pierce PUC (Ultimate Configuration) unit. The PUC moves the pump under the chassis to allow more room in the body. The PUC also improves maintenance with easy access to the pump housing.
