Paradise Leaman Place Fire Company in Lancaster County has taken delivery of a custom Pierce PUC pumper. The Dash CF chassis, with an 11" raised roof, holds a crew of seven and features a 19" extended front bumper, a Cummins ISL 450HP engine, Allison transmission, ABS brakes and the TAK-4 independent front suspension. The new Engine 47-2 features a PUC aluminum rescue pumper body with hatch compartments, a 1,000 gallon water tank, Pierce 1,500 GPM pump, Husky 12 dual agent foam system with two 20 gallon foam cells, 1.5" front bumper discharge, speedlays, stainless steel plumbing and various emergency lighting by Whelen and Fire Research.
