Thank you and huge Congratulations to the membership of the Friendship Hose Company No. 1 Orwigsburg Fire Department in Schuylkill County PA on the purchase of their new Pierce Enforcer Heavy Duty Rescue Pumper!

When completed, this rig will replace a 1985 Ford / Pierce 1250 GPM engine and a 2001 Pierce Saber rescue.

Rescue 56 features include:

  • 510 HP Paccar MX13 motor
  • Waterous single stage 2,000-gallon GPM pump
  • 750-gallon water tank
  • Husky 3 Foam system
  • TAK-4 independent front suspension
  • Will-Burt Nightscan light tower
  • eight seats in the cab with SCBAs in all seats
  • winch and receiver on all four sides
  • 28’ extension ladder and 16’ roof ladder
  • rear inlet/outlet giving Rescue 56 the ability to bring water into the pump and supply water from all four sides
  • over 1,600’ of supply hose
  • full height and full depth street level compartments with overhead hatch compartments
  • Side Roll and Frontal Impact Protection
  • HiViz scene lights
  • Whelen warning and scene lights
