Congratulations to the City of Easton, in Northampton County, and a special thank you to Mayor Salvatore Panto for his help with the purchase of Pierce #Enforcer Pumper. In an effort to upgrade the city’s current fire apparatus and standardize their fleet, Mayor Salvatore Panto, City Administrator Luis Campos and Councilman Roger Ruggles have been working with Chief Henry Hennings and Deputy Chief Chad Gruver to help support the City of Easton’s Fire Department’s growing needs.

The recent Pumper purchase will be a twin to Engine 2019. The Pumper is on an Enforcer 60-inch chassis and 152-inch body.

It features:

  • a Cummins X10 450 hp motor
  • TAK-4 Independent Front Suspension
  • Waterous 1,500 GPM pump
  • 500-gallon tank
  • Harrison 6kW generator
  • Whelen warning lights
  • HiViz scene lights.

Standardizing and upgrading the city’s fleet will help reduce maintenance costs and improve safety by making sure all firefighters are familiar with the equipment they’re operating on, regardless of what fire house they are designated to work in.
