What is an ambulance remount?

When an aging ambulance chassis requires too much maintenance, it may be time for a remount. The remount process removes the medic module from the chassis and places it on a new chassis. Electrical connections and lighting are updated. It is usually possible to make other updates to the medic module for increased safety. The remount process can save your company around 50% the cost of a new ambulance.
